Go-To Daily Look

Hi everyone, my apologies as it has been far too long since my last blog post.

I have been extremely busy between work and transferring schools, leaving little time and little amount of patience to do much of anything else. I'm not sure what is to come with this blog as I will soon be doing 70 hour weeks with school and work. I would like to keep up with the blog of course but it will most likely remain quite inconsistent unless I can button down a time during the week to devote purely to the blog. Only time will tell!

In this post I just wanted to show you guys my go-to daily look as it is one of my most used looks and I'm hitting pan on all the shadows used for this look. I only have one photo of the look from today but will redo this look(of course!) and show closeups of the eyes and lips.

The Finished Look

For the eyes I used the following from my Coastal Scents 252 pallette:
Lid: Sand Storm
Crease and slightly above: Coconut Husk
Crease: Deep Roast
Lower Lashline: Deep Roast
Brows: Brownstone
Eyeliner: Eyestudio in Blackest Black by Maybelline
Mascara: L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Diamonds

Lips: Pink Cloud by Revlon

Face:
Foundation: Almay Smart Shade in Light(100)
Highlight and Contour: Coastal Scents Eclipse pallette
Powder: Revlon Colorstay pressed powder in fair

As always thank you for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Mermaid Eyes

Hi everyone! Two days in a row now I've done makeup looks to put up, now all I need to do is post them!

So I guess I have mermaids on the brain lately, and for good reason as I will soon be getting a mermaid tattooed on my upper arm and am beyond excited! So the other day my mom asked if my makeup was mermaid inspired, which had not been intent, but I guess that's all my mermaid-occupied brain would emit at the time.

Unfortunately I didn't write down the colours used for this look so this isn't much of a tutorial but more of me just sharing the look I wore. If there is interest in a tutorial on this look leave a comment, let me know and I will work on recreating in for you guys! So here is the result of my unknowingly mermaid inspired look.

Bonus Puppy Picture!

As always, thanks for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

My Weight Loss Journey - Update 2 - Oral Surgery and Other Things

Firs of all I want to apologize, its been 3 weeks I believe since my last update. I have been pretty busy, between working late night shifts and catching up on sleep and then getting everything else done that needs to get done I just haven't had time to sit down and record a video.

My boss has been putting my solely on late night shifts so I don't get home until after midnight. It has been like this for about a month if I'm remembering correctly and I am kicking these shifts' butts, but I have to admit that it is quite taxing, I am always tired and can't seem to get enough sleep.

In other news, I spent a few days relocating in my house from one room to another, that took quite a bit of time and energy. My mom and my aunt took a whole day to paint my room, put the carpet down again and bring all my furniture back in and set it up, I am so unbelievably grateful to them. Being able to come home after a late night shift and sleep in my finished room was incredible. In my next video I will give you all a little tour of my room, hopefully by then I will have my vanity table sanded and re-painted and my mirror and lights hung. This also means we will enjoy a new and better recording location.

This past Wednesday I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. For those of you that don't know me, I suffer from relatively severe anxiety and in most cases would have been absolutely freaking out about the oral surgery. Something in me has changed recently, I'm not sure why or how but it was like a switch was flipped. I had zero anxiety on the day of the oral surgery from start to finish. I was calm as could be even when they told my less than 5 minutes prior to the procedure that they would not be able to put me to sleep due to the medications I am on. I was even so bold as to keep my eyes open through most of the procedure. I've been dealing fairly well with the pain but I credit most of that to the vicodin. I will  be on an all liquids diet until I heal so hopefully that will help kickstart me to get back on track with my diet, I know, maybe not the best way to get started but I figured I would take advantage of the situation. Due to the extraction, I have been out of commission the past 3 days and would be today as well if my work had been able to find someone to cover for me, but here I am, at work, swollen, and hopped up on the vicodin they prescribed me for the pain. Since I knew I would have to be in public, I decided that I would attempt to distract from my swollen cheeks by doing some killer eye makeup today. I will post the results of that below as well as pictures of the swelling from the day after surgery just for kicks.

Now onto the weight loss part of this post.

I have plateaued, my weight has stayed at 192.4 lbs since my last video without any fluctuation at all. To be fair I haven't been sticking to the diet the way I should be but like I said, I've been very busy and it's been difficult to maintain a balanced diet. I am pleased however that I at least haven't gained any weight due to my lack of dedication.

I will hopefully have some time tomorrow to record a video update but I make no promises.

My Weight Loss Journey - Update

Hi everyone, if you're keeping up with this blog, you've probably noticed that I haven't done my usual Friday Weight Loss Journey video, the reason for this is that I've had to take on some extra shifts at work and just didn't have time yesterday to record and upload a video. I'm hoping to get it done tomorrow but as it stands I'm running on about 2-3 hours of sleep, currently on an 8 hour shift and am getting together with some friends tonight after work so I probably won't get much sleep tonight either, therefor tomorrow just may be a day of rest for me before I head back into work.

I attempted to record a video in my little booth at work but I only have access to the webcam on my laptop so the video quality is just awful and its a bit awkward to record while I'm on display for the world to see. I do have another WWE Makeup to post as well but don't have my Coastal Scents pallette on me to double check the colours I used, so that will also be posted in the upcoming week.

As always I appreciate you reading, have a wonderful day!

WWE Makeup - Alicia Fox

This look was another challenging one due to the multiple outfits Alicia Fox wears and the lack thereof of a set theme but I made due as always.

This is the ring attire I based this look off of.

Start with a foundation routine as always. Now lets move onto the eyes from inner corner to outer, these are the colors from the Coastal Scents 252 pallette that I used.

Lid: A mix of Kodiak & Aluminum Taupe
Crease and Slightly Above: Gunpowder
Crease: Incognito
Browbone: Ivory Dust
Lower Lashline: Incognito
Eyeliner: Maybelline Eyestudio in blackest black
Mascara: Monsterlash

For the lips I decided to pull in Alicia's rich red haircolor.
Base: L.A. Colors Lipstick in Berry Red
Top: Spiceberry from Coastal Scents 252 pallette
Finish: BedHead by TIGI Shine Junkie Lipgloss in Java

That completes this look, thanks for reading and as always have a wonderful day!
